MUSICAL LITERATURE FESTIVAL

The BOOK MUSIC FESTIVAL; the country's first specialized Musical Literature Fair, with international ambitions.

It is a NEW and USED music literature book fair , and it is also a festival dedicated to music journalists and musicians who have become writers and have concerns in this regard. Obviously there is room for writers and authors whose work revolves around music. Examples? (from Javier Cercas and "Las Leyes de la Frontera", to Ramon Gener and "Historia d'un piano", by Irvin Welsh "Trainspotting") to Jordi Llançamà and his recent "Harto de todo" Oral history of punk in the city of Barcelona 1979-1987. The great luck is that the list of authors and literary production is endless, and the quality and level even more so. In summary; a whole professional sector such as PUBLISHERS, BOOKSTORES and AUTHORS with connections to the music industry and who write and leave a primary legacy for culture and history.

The fair is dedicated to the GENERAL PUBLIC, UNCONDITIONAL FANS OF THEIR FAVORITE GROUPS AND AUTHORS, in addition to BIBLIOPHILE experts devouring music and reading.

And how can it not be otherwise also to the PROFESSIONALS OF THE SECTOR; as journalists and writers - and photographers of live music - and fans in general of music embodied in literature. A festival that combines BOOK PRESENTATIONS, DISCUSSIONS AND CONFERENCES with a New and Used Music Book Fair. The SHORT MUSICAL STORY AWARD (see the specific section) and the LIVE MUSIC PHOTOGRAPHY AWARD are also born . In addition to activities such as live CONCERTS and EXHIBITIONS of specialized photography.
